The MK3.5 represents a major upgrade, with many useful features derived directly from the MK4. One of the most significant changes is the hardware support for Input Shaper & Pressure Advance, which gives your MK3S+ massive speed boost. It’s the Most cost-effective way to get many of the MK4’s features on your MK3S/+.
Please note the following when speaking of the MK3S+ we’re ending the production of the MK3S+ assembly kits on February 15th and we’re planning to end the production of MK3S+ assembled printers – we will sell them only until the current stock lasts. We will keep spare parts in stock. So, if you’re looking to expand your MK3S+ print farm with the same models (instead of switching to MK4), now would be the time to do it.

Supercharge Your MK3S+!
The 32-bit xBuddy board supports Input Shaper (Input Shaper) and Pressure Advance (Pressure Advance). The MK3.5 can be up to twice as fast as the MK3S+.
The speed of an object depends on its size and complexity. However, the bigger the item, the faster it is. We compared a variety of objects for this article. With small objects, however, the differences in speed are less noticeable. The MK3S+ took 36 minutes to complete a small-sized, low-poly Pikachu while the MK3.5 finished it in 33 minutes.
All objects shown in the table were sliced using 0.20 Speed profile, Prusament Pla, and a 15% infill. PrusaSlicer 18.104.22.168 was used in conjunction with pre-release print profile.
Easy and convenient
The new full-color LCD panel makes it easier to operate the printer than ever before. Q: Do the plastic parts come with the kit?
A: The parts come with a small PETG filament reel.
Q: What MMU unit is compatible with my system?
The MMU3 is compatible with MK3.5. However, there are some minor differences. “compatibility kit”You will need to download the required software. We will be sharing more information shortly.
Q: Does the Wi-Fi ESP Module come with the device?
A: The Wi-Fi ESP Module is included.
Q: Is Revo compatible with the Revo?
A: The Revo Hotend is a third party addon. There may be issues running the REVO on the MK3.5 as of firmware 5.2.0. During testing we found that the first self-test would fail due to the strict checks in the firmware. You can start printing, but we recommend you wait for the upcoming release that will support 3rd party heatends. Please see the Release Notes for more details.
Q: Is OctoPrint Compatible?
The MK3.5 supports OctoPrint at the same level as the MK4 or XL. We’re still looking into some features. More information can be found on the Release Notes.
